This....... is what is wrong with America. Too many Beta boys that will give up every ounce of liberty & freedom they have, because the propaganda media tells them they should.

This is the type that walks to their death in a gas chamber, without giving up any type of fight, simple because they were told to get in line by someone in authority.

This....... is what is wrong with America. Too many baw like morons will refuse to suffer from a temporary inconvenience when the leading experts in infectious diseases recommend it. No one is giving up "every ounce of liberty & freedom they have," dumbass. Just don't gather in big groups. You want to go fishing, ride a bike, run, shoot skeet at your camp, golf, then go ahead.

The gas chamber analogy is quite the leap from the please stay home for a little while request...

That’s where I’m at too

I don’t read too much into people screaming on Facebook. They just want to feel important

If they legit recommend a 6 month stay home order, people rightfully so should tell them to frick off

If they do it two weeks at a time, what's the proper number of weeks to wait to tell them to frick off?

Yea, that big government takeover where life was so drastically changed. Not new rules implemented to make airports safer after 9/11 either. Go for it....

And..... you are a serous weak arse pussy. If you are so fricking scared, stay home. Don’t go anywhere, don’t do anything. No harm will ever come to you regardless what anyone else does.

I don’t blame them for trying to make themselves feel important. It must feel really bad to be labeled “non essential” and know you aren’t the backbone of America like welders truckers etc

I'm sorry. Sometimes I forget that I may be dealing with people who may not necessarily have the same advantages that I have had.

Here's the original post to which I was responding:

quote:

Please enlighten us of all the times the government has taken drastic actions in a situation and not returned things to normal afterwards.

Now, perhaps you're a little more insightful than I am, but I don't see anything in that quote about a "government takeover". But even that being said, airline security absolutely was taken over by the government (in a de facto manner, if not completely de jure) post-9/11. There was an entirely new government agency created to do so, in part.

Now, I'll repeat my question to you. Do you really need me to do so?

The virus is still spreading at a brisk pace so apparently not enough people are getting the message.

We leave the house if we need to. Went to Home Depot on Saturday and got stuff to work in the yard and clean up the flower beds. Went to Sam's Club after that to get what we needed. Still working from home because my company is mandating it, but I can't put my entire life on hold. And I'm not going to.

9/11 and Timothy McVeigh right off the top of my head. Two examples without even thinking about it.
