Was it really a scam, though? I mean, it operated exactly as advertised.

The only kinda scammy part was if you didn't decline they sent you the album of the month or something like that.

Of course I did and BMG too. I still have a few CD's that have the BMG print on them.

can't ever recall sending them money either.

It wasn't a scam I dont think because I filled up several of those CD books using that program. They eventually stopped sending them to me for some reason. I think i may have spent 50 bucks over 5 years with them.

Some old dude (in his 60s) at work is a big music head but refuses to update to mp3. He told me not long ago that he had still used this within the past 5 or 6 years. He is known to tell a lie, but I kind of believe him due to the CD collection he has in his work area.

My a-hole, older brother used my name/information to get more cassettes/cd’s and didn’t pay. I was in collections at the age of 12.

Damn, I’m getting old. I got the cassettes. Bob Seger, George Thorogood, Van Halen, AC/DC, Hank Jr., ZZ Top, Zepplin, Eddie Murphy can’t remember if it was Raw or Delirious, Springsteen, John Cougar, Stray Cats, and Skynyrd. Can’t remember the last one.

Get off my lawn!
