Haven't read thread. We bought an Odyssey with the Elite trim. It's worth it. Think I paid $52K. It wasn't some great deal but we needed it asap.

fricking overpriced school bus.
I have to work on those POS, and they are nothing but a money pit. 13%ers love them though. Then wonder why the 10 year old 150k mile POS is going to cost more than it is worth to fix.

It has power heated leather seats, a sun roof, and automatic sliding doors and motorized rear hatch.

It also has a 7 inch GPS screen.

And it burns a little oil. It is usually a quart low right when it is time to change the oil.

May be the most practical vehicle on the planet. The suburban can't touch it for interior space but if you have a small peen maybe the Chevy is the way to go.

The Honda dealership in Houma has some in stock.

It is right around 52k for the Elite package.

With the lower packages you can get down to 40 or 43k.

They show 3 in stock for the Elite Package and 2 in the lower trims.

They also are crazy on a used one. They have an 2018 Elite with 50k miles for 33k. That is dumb pricing. I can buy a new one for 10k more.

Walker Honda in Alexandria is the best Louisiana Honda dealership in my opinion if you’re interested in saving money.

Just bought a 2023 Odyssey Touring at Team Honda in Opelousas for $49,200 after everything was said and done. Negotiated about $1500 off. It’s perfect for my family of 6. Took the middle seat out, so 2 buckets that can slide from left to right in the middle row and 3-seat bench in the back with built-in DVD player and Bluetooth headphones. Great for trips longer than 30 min.

Marriage is hard enough as it is. Doing shite like this only makes it harder.

Just wait about a year, she will be begging for a new vehicle that is not a mini van. It's a phase women go through. They have to have a mini van turns into get me anything but a minivan real quick. I nice SUV is pretty much the same as a minivan when it comes to space. Get her a Lexus GX for about the same price and thank me later.

Nearly the same. Bought a 2023 touring a few months ago for about $51k all in taxes and fees. I’m not a car person, it’s a stupid amount to pay for a car in my opinion, but my old 2010 re-ended and I needed a car.

It’s just awesome. We also have the middle seat out and it is just great for moving kids around, and is objectively one of the most comfortable cars I’ve ever sat in to drive around.

I have no doubt I would have loved the sienna too, but I simply liked the engine, drive and spacious interior of the odyssey much more than the new hybrid sienna.

Honda's don't do deep discounts on cars. They fight tooth and nail with you regarding $500 off sticker, and this was well before COVID.

All dealerships I have dealt with stick to their guns. At least they don't have a market adjustment.

I am sure if you wait a few weeks they will knock something off, but getting 2-4 grand off sticker is highly unlikely. They have a lot of pride in their product, but not as bad as Toyota.

A lot do by design. Oil consumption rate is given to you in the manual. If you run 0w20 it tells you the expected burn rate.

My 2011 does. If you are going 7500 to 10k miles between changes a quart is probably about right consumption wise.

That big Infiniti is ugly but man I’m dying for the new Escalade. Gorgeous vehicle as far as big ones go, IMO.

So we started the buying process. Apparently, the list price is the price.

Welcome to the last two years. If you have a trade-in, you’ll have some negotiation room on that, but the new car price not so much.

Congratulations. Now you can be one of the sheeple.

Pic from facebook outside of a local school.

Never owned a minivan. Life is too short. Get control of your woman.

Look up the free forscan tool for your laptop.

$15 obd2 USB adapter and you can disable the shutoff feature in the Ford computer for good.

I did it on a buddies f150 2.5L

Just have to find the right registry line and edit it.

Online tutorials on it.
