Rap it with a hammer directly on top of the bolt head, not very hard though., use hammer on proper size end wrench to help break it loose. Can probably hold the blade from spnning using a steelson, oh make sure you disconnet the sparkplug wire.

Get a box wrench with a small cheater pipe. As you are applying pressure tap the bolt head with a hammer.

Also kroil is a much better penetrant thab Ron Jeremy or WD40

That's why I always put a drop of oil on mine when I sharpen my blades. In fact it's something I practice on all nuts I remove/put back on something.

I put Permatex anti-seize lubricant on the bolts of my lawnmower blade and anything exposed to the elements like this that I might need to remove later.

Dude i will bring my impact over there and get it off for you. Provided you live near or around BR. Reply back to the thread and I will send my info. It will take literally ten minutes or less. Have the new blades ready and make sure they are the right size. Go OEM not some Lowe’s one size fits all crap. Buy two new bolts while your at it.

Lot of people can’t spell monkey wrench in this thread.

Impact is best bet.

Once out clean with a can of brake cleaner really well then oil good before reinstalling.

A can of Brake cleaner will clean anything.

Kroil is best. Use it. Tapping with a hammer after spraying to help oil penetrate. I never had much luck using WD40 as a penetrating oil.

Always disconnect spark plug wire to prevent the remote possibility of the engine starting. I know there's a bar on the handle that stops the engine. Just take all precautions.
