Sorry for your loss!

The communists at Coca Cola have stopped subsidizing this highly sought after piss flavored soda.

Paywall. But this is part of the article too.

quote:

Now, it is completing a list of additional products to be taken offline this year, including Diet Coke Feisty Cherry; Sprite Lymonade; and Coke Life, a lower-calorie version of Coke sweetened with stevia that the company began rolling out in 2013. Coca-Cola is also retiring small regional brands such as Northern Neck Ginger Ale, Delaware Punch and Mendota Springs seltzer.

Coke is racist.

They'd better bring back original Fresca and Cherry Coke Zero.

Tab represented 0.1% of the $22 billion in global sales of diet cola in 2019, according to Euromonitor International.

I'm surprised it took this long then.

The only thing worse than Tab is thinking I'm going to subscribe to the WSJ to read an article about the end of Tab

I drank Tabs years and years ago. It and Dr. Pepper were the two diet drinks I switched to when I gave up sugar drinks.

The original (good tasting) Tab was sweetened with Cyclamates sweeteners, which were (politically) outlawed in the USA (1970s?). However they still used the sweetener in Mexico. For several years after the change in Tab I was doing a lot of business in Mexico. One of the highlights of trips down there was Tab in glass bottles with cyclamate sweetener. They were really good.

For a while, Delta Airlines had Tab (canned) as a part of their stewardess carts and you could get Tabs on flights. It was nice to have a Tab and a bag of peanuts on a flight.

I'm good as long as they don't touch Fresca.

Tab is terrible. I haven't even seen it anywhere in forever. I thought they had already discontinued it.

My wife is suicidal because they have stopped producing Fresca, at least during Covid.

They're not canning it because of the aluminum shortage, but you can still find it in 2-liter bottles every now and then.

Luckily I don't drink it very often and had a case of cans in the garage.

It's amazing Coke Life made it 7 years

Imagine being on that bullshite team at Coke for the better part of a decade

"Bob, give us an update"

"Well, someone in Michigan bought a 12 pack of Coke Life last week, setting a new sales record for the product."
