Kawasaki after having echo and others. You will be more than happy if you purchase one!

Older shindaiwa equipment can't be beat. Have two 261 trimmers and two eb630 backpack blowers that run perfect.
Bought an echo 266t trimmer last year and already had to replace the carb. Going to check out some stihls this week. But do have an older echo 260 that still runs strong.

Everyone saying straight shaft is definitely on point. Those curved shafts are less expensive, but not worth the difference. Your back will thank you if you get the straight shaft.

I own a lawn care company. Redmax is the best. It is the lightest and has the bigest fuel tank. They are hard to cold start but they are the longest lastibg i have had and i have all the rest.

I have a stihl fs-90r that I've used for about 3yrs with no complaints. Bro-n-law has large commercial lawn and landscape company and uses only echo and shindawa. In 2008 echo and shindawa merged. Echo makes the residential and light commercial trimmers and shindawa makes the top of the line commercial ones. Other than different colors they look almost identical.

I've ran all brands of trimmers in my 13 years of lawn service. The best was Robin. They out performed Stihl, Echo, Shindawa.

Troy Built is by far the best I've ever owned.

Stihl. I've have very few issues with their equipment, parts are readily available and reasonably priced.

I don't have a large yard, so I have an Oregon (battery powered). I was really surprised how well it does.

Echo...they run smooth and don't vibrate the hell out of you after extended use like a Stihl will.

Have you ever run a little Seafoam through with your gas?
Yes all the time and still have issues. I also never buy any ethanol gas.

Weed eaters were invented by the devil. Most frustrating piece of machinery I've ever dealt with. If it won't crank, it runs like shite, or the string is fricked up.
They all kinda suck thanks the CARB compliant requirements who brought us those piece of shite gas cans. They set them up to run to lean from the factory to reduce emissions. I like my 2 stroke engine running wide arse open and spewing enough smoke to kill every mosquito within a 2 block radius
