I have Echo but Redmax is underrated. My dad has a commercial Redmax that has been going strong for like 8 or 9 years now.

I'm on my 2nd Stihl. It's over 10 years old and still very reliable. I have a new Stihl blower that's a pig. Doesn't look like their newer stuff is as good as the older gear.

RedMax or Echo, only choices

Have had the same Husqvarna for 6-7 years now. No complaints

I'm a whore for stihl equipment and I really like my weedester. It's a KM90 and I have a blower and pole saw attachment that both work well. The 4 mix engine is really nice so far.
That said, the best weedeater I ever used was a shindiwa. Light with tons of power but very cold natured.

I thought it was pretty common knowledge Stihl has issues with carburetors. I have a commercial Stihl pole saw that I have to get the carb replaced in every year. Just had it done along with a tune up. It's $100 every year to have all of that done. I have been thinking of selling it getting Echo to match all of my other stuff.
I also have a Stihl Farm Boss that always has issues.

Stihl and Echo. Never had a problem with either. Had a Husqvarna blower that quit after a few seasons.

Whatever my yard man uses is fine by me.
