Sorry brother. Don't live in the area but that's a tough combo. Good luck. Most are going to go the prescription route (unless that's the addiction) but, of course, those are pretty addictive too. Really an uphill battle for your Mom and that's if she wants better. Hoping for good things. Know that takes a toll.

Ron Breedlove off of Bluebonnet... he worked wonders for me... not expensive at all... he's been through some shite himself so he is easy to relate to... he gives you the information about your problems so you can recognize triggers and what they do to you... I recommend him to anybody and everybody

I don't know where around BR she lives, but Lane in Zachary has a pretty new substance abuse outpatient program.

Haven't posted in years but felt like I had to endorse this.

Jefferson Oaks in Madisonville saved my life. Was honestly upset when heard they shut it down but the one in BR is the main one and has a great staff.

Try Townsend for the substance abuse. They have counseling services in the program.
