I was installing a wall tracking system in my garage to hang some tools and I hit a water line. I shut off the main the valve but obviously need to have the line repaired. Who are some reputable plumbers in the BR area?

did you hit pvc or copper. If pvc, just youtube how to fix it. pretty simple. only have to wait about 2 hrs after finishing to test.
If it's copper, go get a shark bite coupling and a little copper cutting tool.

Bust out the sheet rock and take a pic, bring pic to a real hardware store and have them talk you through a shark bite fitting, very easy and you save a few hundred

Yeah, no reason for you to call a plumber for that. If you can hang a wall tracking system, you can repair a water line. It depends on what kind of water line you have.
PVC- glue, cleaner, 2 couplings, pvc cutters, and however much pipe you need to replace the broken section
CPVC (hot water) same as above, but with cpvc fittings and glue that works on cpvc
Copper- copper cutters, 2 shark bite couplings, however much pipe you need to fix the broken section
Pex- pvc cutters, 2 shark bite couplings, and a length of pex pipe for the repair
Just figure out whether it’s 1/2 or 3/4 inch pipe

If its PVC you can do ut with 1 coupling. You just have to grind out the inside lip of the coupling.

Roto Rooter is your best option when it comes to plumbing.. Trust me.

Reputable and plumbers? lol. All crooks baw. $350 is low. Just bust open the wall and fix it yourself. That's all they gonna do.

Cut hole in sheet rock and slap a shark bite fitting on it

If it's your garage there's a damn good chance it's your main line into your house and that it's 3/4 or 1".
As said, cut a 6"x6" square section out of your wall. Check the size of the line.
You can get a sharkbite and they are universal for all materials for about $8 that will fix it.
Eta: the sharkbite you literally just cut about a 1/2 inch section of your pipe out and put the sharkbite in and then push both sides of the pipe into that. That easy.

Your boyfriend should be able to fix it for you. Might cost you a blowie.
Why get his boyfriend to do it, when yours will do it for just a handjob?

I've done a lot of plumbing repairs and I never use Sharkbite or similar inside walls or areas not readily accessible or where a leak isn't already mitigated like a water heater location. Failure rates are too high and they need good prep work that usually is very difficult to manage inside a wall space with existing rigid plumbing. Whatever was used originally you should repair with the same. Main problem I have with Sharkbite is if it does leak, it leaks small which means it could leak for weeks or months before being noticed and by then you'll have mold to deal with too.
