I lived in Des Moines for 3 years. I loved it there. The winters suck, but I don't mind the cold. Great place to raise a family.

I live in Eastern Kansas. We have ground all over Kansas so I've traveled all over the state. Eastern Kansas is hilly and has lots of trees, so it's nothing like the stereotype. Western Kansas, on the other hand, is flat as hell, windy and dry.

I have a son that lives in KC, Kansas. Visited once. He likes it a lot, and I thought it was very nice and lots to do. Nice sports city.

Visited Omaha twice. Very nice downtown.

Both of those places seemed like nice places to live.

I spent some time in Iowa, it's cold as frick.

Some weeks it never got over 15 degrees.

It's desolate with a lot of corn and deer

Iowa or Omaha. Wouldn't care for Kansas or the rest of Nebraska. I had a friend that lived in Scottsbluff, NE. Pretty out there but middle of nowhere.

Idk about Nebraska and Kansas, but in Iowa it's mostly tall, pretty, blonde hair and blue eyes girls of Scandinavian or German descent

Omaha is nice as well. I was on a consulting project there for a little over a year.
