BIL gave wife and I a jail broken firestick for Christmas. Thinking about cutting off cable and just using the firestick to save a little money. Any of you done this? If you have, are you using sling tv? If not sling tv, how are you watching regular television shows? How hard is it to find live sporting events such as college football, MLB, NFL, etc..?

Might check your internet data limits first.

I use Sling, with the sports package I get every sports channel I’d ever want. Only problem with it is if my internet is shaky, it cuts out. It’s also not particularly cheap when you load up on channels, I pay 60 a month.

I tried Sling. I tried PS Vue. Cutting the cord just doesn't fit my viewing habits yet.

I've been using terrarium and Mobdro for most things these days. Kodi just takes too long for me. I also use a digital antenna and a buddies watchespn/FSGO for sports

Tell me about Mobdro. Never heard of it. I use Terrarium currently. Does Mobdro offer more or faster servers? How do the two compare? Thx.

I watch movies/short series on Netflix, Amazon and HBO Go all day while working.
It's ruined me, I can't watch regular TV anymore.
Frick all of the commercials
I'll be pulling the plug soon

Mobdro is good for streaming live channels. You can catch just about any cable network. You can also get local channels, but finding your region might be difficult. For instance, I could find Fox on Mobdro, but it wasn't in the saints game region. I used the digital antenna for that
