Normal milk is really gross. Whomever is stupid enough to drink it raw deserves to be sick. Natural selection at work.

Uncle had a dairy, 300 Holsteins, best dam milk I ever drank. The ice cream was delicious. As kids we put chocolate sauce and stirred it every so often in the freezer.
Good stuff.

I'd buy raw milk if I could get it. I've had it before and it was so good that I felt like I had been ripped off my whole life buying a watered down tasteless milk by-product. Thick, creamy, full of flavor and it took Oreos to a whole new level.

Considering this happened in West Virginia, I doubt hippies were involved.

I think I was 15ish before I had pasteurized milk at home. Straight from the cows 3 days a week in gallon sized pickle jars.

2" of cream floating on top. Had to shake it pretty good before you use it. In fact I still shake the gallon jugs.

The worst was the flavor changes when the the cows went from hay to clover and back again. Took weeks to get used the the flavor changes.

Pasteurized milk is nasty.

Not if you live here. It is not legal in the state of Louisiana to sell raw milk.

Separation has nothing to do with whether or not it is raw. That is just non-homogenized milk. Feliciana's Best Creamery is non-homogenized. Just shake the milk really well.

Brucella, Campylobacter, Listeria, Mycobacterium bovis (a cause of tuberculosis),Salmonella can all be found in raw milk, so yes pretty sure.

There is no scientific proof that vaccines cause autism or anything else.

My kids grew up on it and we drank it often along with raw butter, cream and cheese. It did not have chunks in it and we never got sick from any of it. It goes sour faster than pasteurized milk but the vast majority of the world drinks clabbered (aka sour) milk - perfect for sour cream.
