Constantly. Hard yellow whiffle ball bat or old school skinny Wilson was our wheelhouse. Tennis balls were cheap.

When I was a teenager, I was in my backyard and hit a golfball with a wooden bat. It went from by backyard and landed in Jim hawthorne's swimming pool. About 200 feet.

Tennis balls and pinkies. I'm probably dating myself, but did anyone play curb ball or step ball? Great fielding workouts!
