Daily Cialis 5 mg solved that problem for me, as well being helpful for its main purpose. Blue Cross covered it.

Ask your Dr to change you over to Cardura. Doxasoson
Is the generic. I had the same problem. Flomax will ruin your sex life.

Flowmax did the same for me when I was put on it for kidney stones last year and also gave me a headache everyday that I took it. Tried another prescription drug that was supposed to work similar to Flowmax and had the same problems. I'm now using Finasteride which slowly shrnks the prostate. No more headaches, no more waking up to go at night, experiencing a stronger stream. Do still experience throwing ropes as you call it, just a bit less volume than before; but enough so that it's still a satisfying experience and I'm 76. I plan on staying on Finasteride since I've been witnessing my same age best friend dealing with constant catheter use to empty his bladder for 2 months now. He's undergone a couple of procedures to reduce the size of his prostate and neither one worked. Yesterday, he had some type of crystals inserted into arteries leading to the prostate which should somehow kill off or reduce some prostate tissues. If that doesn't work, I think removal of the prostate is the next option. Getting old is not for sissies as the old saying goes.

Bonus for balding guys-Finasteride also promotes hair growth. Must stay on it to maintain the new hair growth, however.

I had to take it for a few months during and following my radiation for prostate cancer. I wish I hadn't for exactly that reason. What the Flomax didn't screw up, the radiation finished off. Unfortunately, dry ejaculations are something I'm going to have to live with from here on out.

Raw oysters

1st day of September, raw Oysters will be good now.

I think there is one old wives tale that you never eat raw oysters from months without an R in them since the months without the R are the warmer months and have the potential to get you sick. But now with newer regulations, processing, and testing, they should be safe year round. Unfortunately, I am not a big fan of raw oysters.

Recovering Prostrate cancer also. Finished my radiation first of Dec almost a year ago. Urinating control and frequency almost back to normal. But dry shots are still a big issue I’m afraid I’ll fight for rest of my life.
Flomax at the time , was a game changer. In retrospect, I’m having second thoughts , but I personally think my issues are after effects of the radiation AND the hormones shot Dr gives to shrink the prostate. It kills what little testosterone you may have left in the body.
My test numbers gave me the options of Radiation vs removal. I’ll fight these side issues everyday happily over some of the possible side effects of removal that I’ve heard of from friends.
Sry for hijacking this thread subject, but if this is the only issue I’m having after what I’ve been thru over last 1 1/2 years , enjoy life especially with the wife , whether I’m shooting ropes, twine, or dust…. I get my pleasure pleasing / enjoying my moments with her.
