If you can operate a tractor you can operate a bobcat. Hydraulics are simple.

How much damage can I cause?
They're very easy to drive. You'll get the general hang of it in 5 minutes and well be proficient after an hour or two. If the land gets wet at all, get one with tracks instead of wheels or you'll spend most of your time getting unstuck.

Not reading past you never ran one before and asking how much damage you can cause because if you plan on doing any digging, I would suggest you at least place a one call before you dig into a pipeline or conduit that could be buried and either kill you or cost you a bazillion dollars to fix.
