It’s proper to give thanks for the bounties provided for sustaining life. I won’t hunt because I will not snuff the only life out of an animal but don’t have a problem with people or who do. Even a hamburger need to be given praise before enhalation

Easily? None of my people do it, nor do my friends. Not exactly rocket surgery.

Going squirrel hunting(pulling vines ) with a bunch of friends in two weeks. Always a blast. No way even a non hunter wouldn’t enjoy it

I wouldn’t think twice about blowing away a person who intends harm to anyone however.

I grew up hunting. Hunted ducks, deer, squirrel, doves, etc

Spent some time out of Louisiana and have maybe hunted a handful of times since. I can’t see the point of paying $1000 to be part of a hunting club. My dad gives us at least an entire deer every season so that’s not at issue ether.

The way I see it, I dedicate the time I normally would have wasted in a deer stand to the gym. I’d rather be in a warm gym this morning than a cold deer stand

Exactly

It's part of the business culture here, whether it's oil and gas, banking, politics, etc there are more deals done at the camp than the boardroom.

Really puts those that don't hunt at a disadvantage

I grew up duck hunting and have done it for almost 30 years now, but I don’t look down on anyone who either doesn’t hunt or doesn’t care for it.

Hunting is fairly expensive to get into, time consuming, and not really an easy thing to pick up if you haven’t grown up doing it.

Not everyone gets excited about the idea of getting up at 4:30 in the morning, loading a truck full of gear, and standing crotch deep in water or in a tree stand in freezing temperatures.

You are correct. Most of the time that I go now it's a chartered offshore trip or guided hunt with vendors. My buddy has a camp in Venice so he and I go occasionally
