I like small game and pheasant/grouse hunting, but sitting in a stand or blind in the freezing cold doesn't do it for me

I'd pick fishing over hunting if I had to choose. I enjoy getting out the house and going to the camp more than the actual hunting

All while eating a steak or chicken wing

People are just stupid. If they don't see it happening it never happened.

I don't get it. It is purely emotional. Why are you so emotional about some animals and not others?

If you dress correctly you shouldn’t be cold.

It’s about being outside and away from everything baw. It can get boring when you don’t see anything, but I’d rather that than sit inside

It seems that way. I hear hunters talking about new equipment and all that stuff all the time. Seems like a lot of work too.

Born and raised in Acadiana, never went hunting before. Wouldn’t mind doing it just don’t know anyone that’s into it.

I don't hunt much anymore. Maybe a duck hunt every few years. I really only like saltwater fishing too. Catching a 4 lb bass just isn't that exciting once you've landed a 100 lb tuna

This was in the early to mid 90's when the internet was just taking off. I was the typical Gen X-er.

Do you feel bad for the pig or cow when you eat a bacon cheeseburger, because their lives were 100x worse than a wild duck or deer that was hunted.

Yes and fishing is as well. Lots of $$ invested in a good rod/reel and then all the different lures add up in a hurry.
