If you don't profess belief in a higher power, you are not eligible. If you are a person of questionable character, you won't get in.

So when they read your social media, what will they find?

If you get in, study the teachings and learn. There is a lot to learn.

I had the opportunity as my grandfather was a 33rd degree among other positions. I passed on it due to not having time.

When he passed away, I received his ring. I don't wear it as it represents something he put his life into as have many other great men.

I'm 33rd degree. I know some things that would make the hair on your back stand up. And 9-11 was an inside job.

CharlesLSU sounds like your heart is in the right direction, one day you may decide to become a Mason, if not your grandfather would be proud of you. I am a Master Mason and a God fearing Christian, I hope to have a Grandson to pass my rings to. If I do have grandson and they don't become MM, I hope they don't wear my rings, because the won't appreciate all it stands for.

They do charity stuff, hold bake sales, sell food, do old people stuff, etc. There's lots of conspiracy theories from back in the olden days when Freemasons literally built this country.

So they are housewives. No wonder they like the conspiracy theories making them sound cool.

My husband is a mason. His lodge has a lot of other younger guys with little kids. You will probably really enjoy being a Mason and it is something you can be proud of. Don't listen to the hate.

Well I can't tell you what I know because I'm a 55th super-secret degree orange belt in the ancient Order of the Knights of the Antarctic Yellow Sword of the Dawn Treading Ring of Ultimate Power Over Men and Beasts of the Field.

You can't DISprove that we run everything, but you can't really know for sure until you earn your 110th degree Headband of Wisdom Hooting Owl lapel pin.

It's pretty sweet, but I've probably already said too much.

Well frick me how many groups of people are going to claim this? Was it the free slave labor of the blacks? The Jews? The Irish-Italian? Seems like all of these groups claim to have 'built this country'

Can anyone give a serious answer on what the Masons are supposed to do? Behind the scenes political decisions? Financing things that otherwise wouldn't happen?

The couple guys at work that are (supposedly) Masons do not paint a very pretty picture for the exclusivity of the organization, to put it lightly.

I once taught archaeology at a prestigious college. While teaching, I was approached by a man claiming to know where the Holy Grail was located....I later found out that the same man had kidnapped my father. I proceeded to follow clues left by my father - which ultimately lead me to find him and the Holy Grail. The best part of it all was that we helped defeat Nazi Germany all in the same process. From time to time I like finding hidden secrets of the world.
