Any experience getting rid of a wart on the tip of the thumb?

I have been freezing it every 2 weeks, putting the salicylic acid on it a couple times a week, and even whittling it down with a blade in between treatments.
It always grows back. Been 8 months now.
Suggestions?

I cut in to one with a pair of clippers and then ripped it out by "the root" with tweezers when I was a kid. Left a small crater in my hand, but never came back.

Seriously, soak a bit of cotton in apple cider vinegar and place it on the wart under a bandaid over night, every night. Eventually it will turn black and go away.

I had one in HS that wouldn't go away on my thumb because it was "deep." Tried freezing and stuff, but none of it worked. Wrapped it with duct tape for a week or two. Thumb looked like like a wrinkled white prune, but the wart went away. Someone explained it worked by depriving it of oxygen.
