Would you recommend it as a job/side hustle?

Are you talking about raising proper meat birds, selling eggs, or selling your soul to Tyson?

Why? Is it a full-time job or something you can take care of before and after your regular job?

I was looking into buying a chicken farm when I move back to Arkansas.

Heinrich Himmler was a chicken farmer before he became head of the Nazi SS.

Chickens need more water than you can imagine. Everything that walks, crawls or flies loves chicken
And you can't take vacations.

Is everything already set up or you buying as you go? Chicken houses are very expensive

You better hope it comes complete with the Arkansas version of Kaleb Cooper, otherwise, you're gonna be screwed like this guy would have been:

Could be any reason. People sick of it, too old, died, not making money, retiring to paradise.

Ask and answer this question. Usually, chicken farms/houses get sold for the same reason.
