Was there new evidence that I missed?

I asked what happened before the video started. Were they called there? Or was it a random stop?

I’ve stated multiple times if it was a random stop it’s very fricked up and they should be fired.

Comply? Im still trying to figure out why he went to jail. The second she knew his walking stick was not a gun she should have shut the frick up and went back into her car.

So if you are somewhere in public and a cop comes up to you and with no explanation they say "show me your ID" you are not going to ask why? They can't just go around asking people for their ID if they haven't committed a crime.

He wasn’t a dick to those cops, no matter what the painted fingernail, tattooed up female cop has to say. I know stop and frisk for zero reason worked in New York, it did work there but that doesn’t mean we have to agree with it. I’m sorry but if I’m walking through my neighborhood and a cop rolls up on me for NO reason asking for ID, I’m instantly getting aggressive. Nothing personal, I just don’t feel the need to stop what I’m doing to give ID to the people that we pay for, especially in a smaller community.

That’s exactly what that guy is and he still got arrested. No crime was committed. He stood up for his rights. Is that a difficult concept for you to grasp? Not flaming, serious question because I just don’t understand your thought process/logic here.

Oh and he’ll get paid on our(tax payers) dime. The cops will skate, violate someone else’s rights, & the cycle continues.

“Allowed “ to vote? You don’t think it’s your natural born right to vote as a law abiding citizen?

Y’all may want to review the laws in your states. There are 24 states that require you to identify yourself.

That’s why I keep asking what happened before the video was rolling. Did someone call the police and say he was acting unusual or looked like he had a gun? I’m not saying I agree with these laws but I think y’all believe you have rights that you may not.

quote:

901.151 Stop and Frisk Law.— (1) This section may be known and cited as the “Florida Stop and Frisk Law.” (2) Whenever any law enforcement officer of this state encounters any person under circumstances which reasonably indicate that such person has committed, is committing, or is about to commit a violation of the criminal laws of this state or the criminal ordinances of any municipality or county, the officer may temporarily detain such person for the purpose of ascertaining the identity of the person temporarily detained and the circumstances surrounding the person’s presence abroad which led the officer to believe that the person had committed, was committing, or was about to commit a criminal offense. (3) No person shall be temporarily detained under the provisions of subsection (2) longer than is reasonably necessary to effect the purposes of that subsection. Such temporary detention shall not extend beyond the place where it was first effected or the immediate vicinity thereof.

Now the resisting arrest charge is bullshite for sure. He never resisted arrest.

Lmao you may want to review what you posted. They can't require ID just because they ask, there still has to be an underlying clearly articulatable suspicion of a crime. From your own quote:

There's no state where cops can stop to ID you without a crime (not driving). 'acting unusual'or even 'looking like you have a gun' isn't a crime. Even if the cops were called for those reasons the man wouldn't have to give ID

The bar for reasonable suspicion is not very high

sure, but 'looking suspicious, acting unusual' type things are often used to force compliance when they cant even meet that not very high bar.

looking like you have a weapon is not the same as reasonably suspecting you are about to do something illegal with a weapon. they cant ID you because they think you look like you have a weapon, which was the justification they used.

No fricking shite. I didn’t think I had to explain that because it’s in my post.

I’m simply saying you don’t know when a cop has reasonable suspicion or they don’t.

I don’t like what these cops did at all but some of y’all act like you don’t have to do anything a cop says.

I’m just trying to save y’all from having my a bad day when you try to be a badass
