Those things are everywhere in ATL and Charlotte. They’re pretty fun and convenient for medium distances.

Have they made it down to Louisiana yet?

Rentable electric scooters using an app. Like Uber for scooters

Electric scooters you rent by the minute. App based like Uber. Actually Uber and Lyft have their own versions.

Great for downtown/urban/tourist type areas

Seeing them all over Lafayette. I'm told they go about 18 mph.

I swear I saw on here a few weeks ago that they dropped a bunch downtown BR, but I haven’t had a chance to go look yet.

Very convenient and cheaper than an Uber driver. It was a game changer when I was in Paris. We walked a lot, and the Bird gave us some extra energy late in the day at a budget rate.

All over downtown Lafayette and around the university. I mean EVERYWHERE. It’s a college kid thing I guess.

They were supposed to be in NOLA. Some people threw a fit a week before launch and the mayor had to rethink the arrangement/approval.

It would piss me off to have scooters randomly strewn about my city. The bikes are ugly as hell, but don't they have to be put back in the bike racks?

They are awesome, but there is no way I'd let a kid aged less than 15 on them. I went flying over the handle bars at around 12 MPH coming back from the Nuggets game the other night.

They’re all over Dallas and can be pretty fun/convenient when going out. Wouldn’t recommend riding drunk tho.
