How many times has he been to rehab?
Don't put him in a good one the first time out bc he's likely to relapse.
It usually takes a few times for it to work unless he's really motivated.
All of this sadly. My best friends brother is constantly in and out of rehab.

Dude, just call the place. They get calls like that every day. They can walk you through the process, etc.

Nah...do not let some church lure you in. Hell my pastor in high school end ended up getting caught for stealing and alcoholism. Hell, I could hear that sort of word from God from any of my derelict buddies.

I wasn’t being negative about bridge house, I’m all for anyone getting help if they need it. They literally have ads all over the website though, which was my initial point

I went to Woodlake in. Abbeville.
It’s a great value.
They have one in Ethyl, too

If it’s a safety issue get him committed. It sounds like your about to force someone to unwillingly go to treatment though which is sadly a waste of everyone’s time and effort.
Rehabs have people who’s entire job is to answer questions like this and they get lots of them. Call around and ask for information and advice

It's cheaper to just quit on your own or cut back to a few drinks a day. This idea that you're either sober or a drunk is a lie.

My son went through 3 facilities, Bridge house was magic for him,
I can’t give a higher recommendation

You do understand what an alcoholic is right?

Age? How long can he go for?

This seems like one of those you get what pay for type situations.

To a degree yes, especially as far as facilities and the people you are with goes. The most expensive treatment center in the country has about the same success rate as the cheapest though. It’s one of those if you really want it, you get it kind of things.
