The only positive with ugly women is that they try harder. They frick you within a inch of your life.

wow. so i lived in the midwest for 2/3 of my life and NE ohio is fricking awful. youngstown is one of the most drug addicted crime ridden broken cities in the world. imagine waking up every day from october-march and never seeing the sun, the temp never getting above 40*, everything is brown and dirty and covered in smog and menthol cigarette smoke and fentanyl ODs you have to step over to get to work. Louisiana is Bora Bora compared to NE Ohio. lol people saying good for you.

Youngstown is a giant shithole but OP isn't going to be near there. Some of the Cleveland burbs are nice.

Lived out of Louisiana in the NE for 4 years.

Loved it.

Only reason I am here is because I married a Louisiana girl that dragged me back.

Get the hell out and never look back.

Best move I ever made was leaving LA after LSU. I have lived in Florida and Texas since then. My kids were born in DFW area and we are still here. The quality of life and public schools cannot be beat. Only thing I miss about LA is the people and the food. That’s what visiting is for.

Same here. My mother, lives in Old Goodwood, said if I'm happy living here (Texas), don't move back. Says BR is getting worse by the day.

Just go. Before long you'll realize that leaving Louisiana was one of the best decisions that you've ever made. Especially at your age.

I left Louisiana 4 years ago and I don't regret it for a second. The quality of life is so much better here in Boulder.

You truly do not realize just how screwed up Louisiana is until you move out of it.

Was fine but had the wife and three children. We moved next door, just to the West and darn sure stayed South of the Mason-Dixon line.

You can always move back in a few years when you are more settled. Just depends on what you want in life. I would rather hang out with family than coworkers.

As a fellow Old Goodwood resident, I concur. The city and South Louisiana as a whole (outside of Lake Charles) has been in near free fall since the 2016 August floods

Yes, yes I have. It looks like downtown, which was such a happening place for the last 10 years is slowly folding. So many businesses going under and homes in forclosure. It’s really sad and disappointing. I was hoping to move there after law school, but the job market is still in the toilet and the rest of the town is declining slowly as a result. It’s much better there than in Houma, but they are seeing very similar economic problems.

The rock n bowl is really cool, though.

Usually I'd say you're lucky, but northeastern Ohio sounds miserable
