Your reading comprehension is horrible OMLandshark. He's talking about Bourdain not his 11 yr old kid.
Sorry, been drinking by the pool today to be fair.

Sure, you live and you learn. One of the things you hopefully learn is that although unhappy, maybe even clinically depressed, your life is most likely incredibly important to the people who love you, and depend on you.

If you are interested in watching older seasons...first 8 seasons of Parts Unknown are currently on Netflix as well(since Netflix is a lot easier to navigate than the CNN app).

My take on the CNN angle is it’s pretty funny when their highest rated shows are non-news ones, so watch away and show the disparity between what it is and could be without the leftist bias bullshite.

Those with true clinical depression may sometime actually believe that their loved ones would be better off without them around.

I mean...if they are seriously thinking of killing themselves...you have to realize rational thought has left them.
I actually spoke to my dad on the phone the day before his attempt. He seemed fine...even said he was doing better. We talked about my brother's baby girl that was due any day now. He was very excited about finally being a grandfather. Talked about how I was gonna be starting IVF very soon and needed my life to be as low stress as possible the next few months because of it.
And then he does what he did the very next morning. So yeah...rational thought clearly had left his mind that day. I can remain furious that he did that to us...or try to understand just how ill my father really is and focus on getting him the help he needs.

Move over, Don Rickles. I found a new "Mr. Warmth".

Whew... I'm just an LA ex-pat here to watch the (hopefully) good food on TV.
Prayers and best wishes to Nurse and all y'all.

And many may never express such a sentiment, but it’s at that point that any who do should be committed somewhere to get help.

These people live and breed among us. See, the thing is baws like this don't have the capacity of self-reflection required to understand mental illness. It's not their fault I guess, but it can be frustrating. They've never had a 2nd level thought in their life.

Guy can't even understand basic information about mental illness. My pug is likely more intelligent then him.

My prayers are with you nurse. Hoping for the best with your dad.
Don’t let the mouth breathers get to you. You know the stupidity around here so stay above it.
