It's fishy, everyone who knew him closely has said he was the happiest he had ever been, and was saying it over and over recently.

You have no idea what he was dealing with. No one does. People don't kill themselves if they are not dealing with something.. And it is easy to call someone a pussy or a coward, but it could have been a weak moment for him.. And he paid the ultimate price. That is called, being human.
Plus, I don't think that one action should define him. He delivers in his shows. You actually learn shite, which is hard to find in a TV show.

Anyone who has struggled with suicidal tendencies knows you can flip on a dime. You’re extremely happy one day simply because you’re not suicidal. That can change quickly. Bourdain was very open about his demons.

I fall in the reality of this world.. I am sure you listen or read some bullshite that tells you what is or isn't contributing to the "pussification" of this world and it sounds good and all, but do you think someone who is thinking rational, feeling good, etc just decides "I think I am going to fricking hang myself". It doesn't work that way.
Just because you can't see a problem doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Most of the country has mental illness or disorder. Claustrophobia is a mental disorder. Thanks to recent events (on no fault of my own) I have PTSD. But keep on shaming people for having it and calling them cowards.

And your reasoning and shaming is why these people will continue to kill themselves. The blood is not on my hands who wants to get them help; the blood is on your hands for calling them pussies for wanting to get help. Your mindset is why people kill themselves rather than seek help. They see themselves as weak and would rather end it all than be perceived that way.

It’s because you’re dumb or extremely naive if you think this. The blood absolutely is on your hands. You bully the mentally ill and tell them that them that they’re weak. What if they’re much more intelligent than you are and see the world as fricked? What if their kids have died and it broke their mind and soul? will be tuning in, don't consider him a hero, but really enjoy his show and travels.
i do wonder about some people's dispositions on mental illness though.
