i'm not touching that.

i get feeling for the pain his family and loved ones are going through.
i get paying respects for the mans accomplishments in his lifetime.
*i get using his selfish act as a PSA for mental health.
but i can't respect him for what he did.*
end of story.

*but IMO, we need to cut waaaay back on giving airtime to people who commit suicide and mass shooters. it's part of the problem.

and NO, "most" of the country does not have a mental illness of disorder. that's nonsense. Unless you count being liberal / progressive a mental disorder.

Most research on the matter would suggest that you're probably stuck with your low IQ

You can make marginal improvements through brain exercises but that might get you to about 102 at best

Very judgemental of you - says more about you than anything else though.

People that commit suicide tpically have srruggled for a long time - people arent happy and then all sudden have a bad day and decide to end it. They have to make the right decision every day and only make the wrong decision once.

yes, it is. i'm not denying that. but it's my POV. you don't have to like it. IDGAF.

and what about their parents? their children? their significant others? friends? extended family? are they all just supposed to accept said "wrong decision" and move on to live their lives normally afterwards?

eta: Nurse, I'm sorry you are going through what you are going through. And I honestly do hope things get better for you. I just have 0 empathy for suicide and that 100% is tied to how it destroys families and friends because of one person's selfish decision.

Some of us actually do understand what you are going through. It is a long road with no guarantees. Stay strong.

Just say a prayer for him and his family.

We don't know what really happened.

No they will be sad to have lost a loved one - death is a part of life. Ill paraphrase for you what a friend of mine said at his fathers funeral "I saw my dad struggle with ups and downs for years. In the end I know he chose the only option he felt was open to him at the time. If you see someone you love struggling please talk to them and if you are struggling yourself please get help or talk to someone immediately".

I was pissed at his dad when i first heard about what happened - his words at the funeral changed my outlook on the subject

Maybe 200 locals... and a bazillion money-toting tourists who want to participate. This is a loving gift to Louisiana.

Im sure they did the ice chest shaker method of crawfish too. Cajuns are known for that bullshite.

That's why they need mayo and ketchup to dip in.
