What taxes can be created in order to fight this horrific problem and give childhoods back?

NASA doesn't know what they're talking about. We should listen to real scientists, like politicians and Hollywood actors.

Antarctica is getting icier by ksayetiger
one could argue that even though net ice is gaining, the total area is declining. ice is thicker yes, but diameter is smaller.

in other words, yes land ice is growing, but sea ice is shrinking

what does this mean? I dunno exactly

It means that these images were taken during two different seasonal periods. Similar to saying “it’s getting significantly hotter....in August....compared to January”

I would say that it means that you forgot that the seasons are opposite below the equator.

Situational irony: you accidentally blowing up the GW narrative with pictures as "proof."

Well done sir!

So you’re saying that climate change will show its effects only after 2015?

Or are you admitting that you will acknowledge data only when it coincides with your agenda?

I don’t think that helps a rising sea problem.

Not so fast. That was from 2015. This is from 2018, using ice cores instead of estimates from satellite data

quote:

new NASA-led study has determined that an increase in snowfall accumulation over Antarctica during the 20th century mitigated sea level rise by 0.4 inches. However, Antarctica’s additional ice mass gained from snowfall makes up for just about a third of its current ice loss.
“Our findings don’t mean that Antarctica is growing; it’s still losing mass, even with the extra snowfall,” said Brooke Medley, a glaciologist with NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, and lead author of the study, which was published in Nature Climate Change on Dec. 10. “What it means, however, is that without these gains, we would have experienced even more sea level rise in the 20th century.”

No. That is stupid.

You can’t figure I why someone is asking why a poster is posting information from 2015.

Antarctica leadership is clearly MAGA. They don’t even show up at the UN or olympics because everyone complains about how cold the room gets.

I could be wrong on this, but I think I remember reading somewhere that if the ice is floating on the sea and it melts, it doesn't raise the sea level because it affects the level even when it's floating. Some of the more scientific types can maybe answer that better.
