When I was a young child, I’d have made sure any opponent sporting something like that limped home from the game.

If the kids themselves are just mimicking what they see college and pro athletes doing on TV, well that is a tale as old as time. Remember the armband and visor craze in the mid-00's? Let the kids have fun.

If its parents and coaches pushing it, then it comes with a high cringe factor.

Unfortunately, most tournaments now have these.

exactly. What’s the motive for this thread? I can get behind travel ball parent hate but this is literally just a picture of 2 happy kids after a ball game.

It's marketing. The "Bomb Chains" are very clearly provided by Easton to market their products.

Did you think these kids or their parents purchased these?

travel ball parents really are the worst between shite like this, rings for every tourney, and begging you to pay for their travel.

And 99% will have little to show for it when their kids don't play past high school.

Between Braxxtynns’ travel ball and Paysleys’ competitive cheer team going to Orlando … they’re halfway through paying their Xl Denali at $1200 a month for 84 months… times are tough !

I can't wait for the resident travel ball defenders to find this thread and call everyone a loser and good luck playing in HS etc.
