Another school shooting - Maryland

Update: A gunman who shot and wounded two students at Great Mills High School in Maryland was killed Tuesday after engaging an armed school resource officer, an official said. The shooter was the only fatality. A female student was critically injured and a male student was also shot but is in stable condition at a hospital, authorities said.
Any ideas on how to stop these? Banning guns is not in the equation.

If the school would let these kids attend basic combat training and started issuing them weapons at completion there would be a lot less shootings.

I think some parents would have a problem with that. It's amazing that some people are terrified of guns.

If you ban guns, what happens? Do those who wish to do harm automatically say well guns are banned, I can't use them? No, why is that so hard to comprehend? As far as the free mental health, how do we diagnose who is mentally ill? Doctors are different, what one says is an issue, another may say something different.

If the govt ever get serious about it they could pretty effectively ban the manufacture of guns, but keep sales legal and let supply and demand take its toll on the poors from owning guns.
