frick Teddy. No one really gives a shite about her. Business is business. Things gotta keep going forward, the Feds will and are going to take care of her.
When Marc Morial left office, he was under federal investigation. I can't remember the exact charge, but I recall there being a five year statute of limitations on the most likely charge. Of course, the five years came and went with nothing happening. I was shocked because he was such a crooked cocksucker. But Marc and Michelle Miller moved to NYC and he took some corporate position in the Urban League.
As far as any criminal prosecution of Teedy goes, I'll believe it when I see it.

maybe they need to do another sunk car in highway crossing culverts clean out. 7-8 years ago that was a huge improvement

It's climate change! Latoya is in Dubai addressing this!

The control panels that were in these buildings were is such shite condition he said there's no way a bunch of them worked before the storm.
I feel like I remember Dave Attell working on the pumps on an episode of Insomniac around 2001. That’s probably the last time anyone touched them.

that whole stretch of the River District will do well.
Not with the requirements for “affordable housing” they tagged the developer to build.
It could be a gem of city riverfronts in America, but because of the housing requirements visitors will be accosted with “bet you I know where you got dem shoes”?

Eh, look at the affordable housing demands on other developments. They aren't forever and the developers know the work around.
Posted on 12/3/23 at 8:28 am to Geauxldilocks
The affordable housing was mainly for 1st responders & teachers, but hey that’s not any fun to cry about

You need to do some research on why these affordable housing units are included.
A ton of funding for projects to include them for a period of time and then they go away.

Morial knew how to cover his tracks. He was 1000x smarter than Teedy plus he became the head of the Urban League in DC I believe.
Not to mention the feds didn’t want to mess with him, he came from a very wealthy and powerful political family.
Latoya is a thug that no one gives a shite about.

In the meantime, Mayor Teedy's response to the flooding:

Until the people of New Orleans rise up to demand accountability of the S&WB along with the Mayor nothing will happen.

Yep. Mother nature has put both of those shitholes on notice. Smart money is buying cheap land around morgan city and hoping it's still there after the river changes course.

They had a chance with the recall. It failed and emboldened her
Posted on 12/3/23 at 10:05 am to jmarto1
Lol. A recall never had legs
Posted on 12/3/23 at 2:02 pm to jmarto1
You honestly thought the chocolate city was going to recall their chocolate queen?

That’s how unplugged you are.
I don’t think anyone actually thought it was going to happen
It was more of a message
