Sorry baw. Race war is off this week, we’re back on the the bubonic plague that is destroying the economy by only killing mawmaw and paw paw.

Why didn’t white people stage protests?
They were too busy setting the country on fire for what amounts to .0005% of the murders in this country.

Because everyone who says “White Lives Matter” or even an inclusive “All Lives Matter” is called racist and fired from their job.

Jesus. Why kill people that old (why kill people at all, I know I know)?
They might have had another 5 left years between them, but now the family will be haunted by this forever.

They work on weekends too? They don’t have vacation days?

Not involved in this case was a governmental position of authority (aka Police) killing an unarmed minority. That is what BLM is about.
Get out of here with this. Trayvon was not killed by a cop. Zimmerman wasn’t even white. Yet BLM was there.

No video and the guy is dead. You are welcome to start a movement though.

It’s not a false equivalency. It is the discussion that so many in this county want so desperately.
This is essentially an illustration of “all lives matter” if you are treating the floyd situation as an illustration of “black lives matter”. They don’t exist independently like we are being told.
In reality, in order to talk about black lives mattering you’re have to be willing to talk about all lives mattering. The fact that he situation in the OP occurs is what ultimately leads to situations like Floyd. Innocent people need to be able to visit graves of loved ones without fear of being randomly killed, which is why we have police. The more violent these people act, the more force they will be met with by police when they have encounters.
The OP is pointing out that this couple dying is not newsworthy and therefore not worthy of a discussion. If we can’t have this discussion, and acknowledge that the root of the problem is horrible violence, then the cycle will continue

Because we have to go to work and run this country. Not try to burn it down. I wish white people would rally when this shite happens but that's not the way we live our lives. Plus the media doesn't push any narrative like this so it doesn't get any coverage and it would be called racist.

Don’t expect anyone to read all that logical shite

Because black people would also need to be involved in these protests in order to have any meaning but they are all too busy feeling sorry for themselves at the moment.
Oh and they would be met with cries of racism and possibly violence by those that have been rioting for 3 weeks now.
In other words, it’s pretty clear we aren’t ready to have the discussion

Why don’t you talk about the white on white crime though? 80% of white homicides are committed by other white people.

What’s the point of that conversation? What would we be trying to solve?
If the problem has been identified, which I think seems to be pretty clear that: black people need to stop being killed by police. So let’s look at contributing factors to this happening. That is we need to stop what is causing this. In reality, the violence in the black community, which is unfortunately the most disproportionately violent group in the entire world, is what leads to being met by violence in police.
We clearly don’t want to have that conversation, so we are avoiding it by proposing dumbass ideas like getting rid of the police altogether. Classic case of trying to treat a symptom rather than the cause.

It’s not only that nobody “important“ cares about black on white crime like this, it’s that if you do care, that’s proof that you are a racist . We are truly lost as a culture.

Sure, let’s do it.
White people don’t defend or excuse the violent criminals who happen to be white. You generally don’t even see the parents or family members of white criminals defending the actions of their criminal family members.
If you want to have a real conversation about crime, you have to look at all factors. You can’t begin from a Utopian position, as the progressives seem to do, that thinks all people are little angels who only commit crimes because they have been oppressed.
You should ask why are particular crimes being committed. What is actually happening. White guy kills his wife over an affair? White drug dealer shoots another white drug dealer over some bad deal? White mom smothers her kid cuz she’s a thot wannabe social media influencer? We know those tragic stories and are disgusted by them.
Some angry white teenager walks into a cemetery and kills an elderly black couple for no reason whatsoever? That simply does not happen, or so rarely happens that when it does, it is a national story, and for good reason.
The battle of good versus evil takes place in the hearts of all people, regardless of race. Nurturing hate for another race will produce predictable results no matter what color your skin. This absurd idea that only whites can be racist is a post-modernist distortion of plain language. Don’t fall for it.

Because you don't see white people (or anyone for that matter) burning the country down for supposed racism. These points are simply brought up for comparison.
You know what is interesting though? That white people are responsible for only 7% of black homicides. Yet here we are starting a "movement" for this widespread and prevalent epidemic.
There will never be an honest discussion in this country if people are incapable of looking at facts.
