On the arse end of some wild shite here in NW Calcasieu. At least 50 mph winds, marble sized hail, and probably 6 inch per hour rain.

Yeah dude I really noticed the difference between it being 90.6 degrees instead of 90.5!

Hey dipshit…. May records for highs were broken over the weekend. 98 with a heat index of 110.

Feel especially bad for the people who haven't even had power back on for a week. Now getting hit again.

Not because of an eruption that raised temps by a tenth of 1 degree haha.

Or do you have a model that shows the increased water vapor raised the temperature by multiple degrees (20 times more than expert predictions)

I hate when the rain gets here (Baton Rouge) after the sun goes down.

If we are going to get drenched, at least the storm should give us a break from the summer sun.

these should be good reminders to get your trees near powerlines trimmed so you aren't the a-hole that knocks power out for your block

It got pretty shitty in Youngsville. Winds picked up and I could hear the hail hitting the windows. Glad I got all the yard work done yesterday.

Went through Montgomery County in about 10 minutes but was pretty rough. Lost power for 2-3 hours but back now.

Never lost power during the last derecho.

Pretty awesome watching this roll in from my office. I’m on the 11th floor facing north so it was a good view.

USE ENGLISH

derecho.... what the frick is this shite?

that is spanish for "straight ahead" or "direct"

Can't we just fricking say a storm? since when does a storm need a name like derecho?

Had some hail in Katy during it, couldn’t tell how big because I was in a work meeting.
