When are we gonna start holding these sons of bitches accountable?

The 2016 shooting happened in a hotel where police were responding to a report of someone pointing a gun out a window. Philip Brailsford was one of the responding officers, and in this video you see and hear the cops barking out commands to a man and woman the moment they walk out of their room.
While attempting to take Daniel Shaver into custody ... Brailsford fired his AR-15 five times, shooting and killing 26-year-old Shaver. Brailsford, who is no longer on the force, was on trial for 2nd degree murder and reckless manslaughter -- until the jury returned not guilty verdicts Thursday on both counts.
Mark Geragos represented Shaver's family and described the shooting as "an execution, pure and simple. The justice system miserably failed Daniel and his family." This footage was critical in the trial, and was released hours after the verdict.
In it, you see Shaver on his knees, begging cops not to shoot him. After struggling to follow some of Brailsford's directions ... he starts crawling toward the officers as commanded.

That was difficult to watch.
Poor guy was crying. I agree with the jury though. That was not 2nd degree murder. That was 1st degree pre-meditated murder. Cop had his mind made up he was going to shoot somebody.

The guy was stumbling because he was trying to crawl on his knees with his legs crossed. He was only 4 feet away and there were obviously at least 2 officers there. Why not just go up and cuff him while he is spread eagle on the ground?

Definitely sketchy. I wasn't arguing that it wasn't. The guy did reach where he was asked not to is all I was saying.
ETA - don't think that the cop should have felt immediately threatened so easily.

His partner was clearly a fricking imbecile. The officer was giving commands to his idiot partner, the woman, and the man. High stress situation and he shoots a man dead. It was a clusterfrick from all parties.

Cop is a POS with a terrible tattoo. With all of the guns on the guy after the lady was in custody. Why not just cuff him while he was face down? Instead of yelling all of their shitty commands at the guy and possibly confusing him. Dude should not have reached but it should've never gotten to that point.
