Had a 3rd wheel just continue spinning on a potential jackpot win @ Lauberge.

It would have paid about $27k and they came by and said “sorry, computer glitch”

Vegas casinos routinely payout millions in cash. Some will give you their own fancy bag.

Yep. And when the state gaming agencies fine them for not paying out its minimal, like the whopping $500 Ceasers had to pay for not paying out a $27k bet.

The state Division of Gambling Enforcement fined Caesars $500 for wrongly insisting that the man’s hockey bets were losers.

Make no mistake. The gaming commission is not there to protect you.

Isn't there some dude here that lives in Vegas and is all into that scene? We need him to weigh in.

I think golden or nugget is in his username.

They r doing this a lot online. Freezing accounts who hit a few nice big ones.

Guy had a baseball system, for 1st w rise of baseball and it hit for 6k. Then 4 k. One of biggest books in world, froze his account and wouldn't pay

Zero reasons given. All his bets made a day before games to be played

I have no idea what "1st W rise" means, but the only bets you can make a day in advance for baseball are ML and O/U, and some of those might not even be available until the following morning.

Hmm. We can’t bet on Celtics at a few of the South Lake Tahoe casinos. Maybe his bet slipped through? Or was it a field team ticket and they couldn’t pay because it was Celtics? I was told years ago that a stakeholder in harrahs and Harvey’s had interest in the Celtics as well but I don’t know. I bet on college sports like any respectable degenerate should.

Some of the fine print on those sports books are that for high odds payouts they will only pay up to like $10000 or $20000. It’s a scam.

A fricking Mafia bookie has more integrity than a casino.

Sure if you don’t pay up you’ll get kneecapped but if you win they will pay you fair

500k is the payout. His bet plus the winning amount

Why is he saying he won 500K - either he doesn't understand gambling or is dumb

No because his initial bet of $143k is irrelevant. It was PAID, past tense, therefore he is awaiting $500k of winnings. You see, that is how gambling works at the casino. You pay to win X.

WRONG - look at the ticket above dummy, it clearly states "MAX WINNG 357K".

You don't win your investment.

It's like a stock, if you buy it at $20.00 and sale it at $25.00 you don't realize a $25.00 gain .

try again

I’ve got a quick way to end this.

Everyone just stop gambling at casinos? Maybe stop betting on sports.

Here’s something people here won’t like to hear. If the only way to be interested in sports is to bet on it, you don’t actually like sports.
