Another car buying question (please don’t make me drive a minivan edition)

When comparing similarly equipped used cars (make, model and trim), what is appropriate mileage allowance cost difference?
As an example of what I’m looking at,
Ford Expedition Max
Car A has 20,000 miles for $43,500
Car B has 29,000 miles for $42,000
Which is the better deal?
If Car A is a better deal, at what price does Car B become a better deal? And vice versa?
frick I don’t want to drive a minivan

There's no way I would make a big deal out of that.. Whichever you like better.

Get some new pussy and buy a 4runner

That’s a pretty specific question.
Let me give you a specific answer:
Car B.

You’re probably 100% correct. Right now my brain is so fried from talking to 10 dealerships, think at one point I was trying to convince myself that we could buy two smaller cars to fit the family in for outings.

Compute this
0.55*miles difference-(2*miles difference/car mpg)
0.55*miles difference-(2*miles difference/car mpg)

Expedition all day. Love it.
Try to figure out what type of person was the previous owner. Fat families will put more wear on the seats and whatnot.

I'd take the lower mileage for the extra $1,500.

Those two are so similar that it doesnt matter.. you should then just look at other factors, like which color you like better, which has better features (rear view camera, remote start etc)
Also, why the Expedition Max? , i prefer the regular Expedition .. i’m pretty sure it would be comparable in space to a minivan, i’m not sure who would want/need an Expedtion Max unless you have like 5 kids.

The biggest question is why the F are you buying a Ford......

I do actually have five kids, though one is going to LSU next month.
I did look at cargo room and would believe that the expedition MAX has only 3 more cu feet of storage (36) than the Honda Odyssey (32.8)? The regular expedition only has 21 cu ft. frick!!! Where are my balls? My kids are slicing them off nice and slow.

A is better b/c you will get more of original factory warranty.
ETA:
On your last question, that's kind tough. Probably depends on where you value higher mileage.
B will have less warranty and need tires sooner, so those are factors. Your $1500 savings gets eaten up fairly quickly.

I have in the past. I started by emailing about fifteen dealerships, have test driven the appropriate vehicles, researched every option on these fricking cars. I probably could sell them for a side hustle. After all that, after playing the games, the smart economic decision is probably to buy a minivan.
Someone come push me off this cliff

Here’s another thing. Should I put that $1500 “savings” toward an extended warranty?
i.e. Flood Ford warranties

That's the latest OT hot button.
The Max is a new design this year, or last year?
I think the drivetrain is pretty solid, but I'd research on Ford forums to see if anything pops up. You can always buy an OEM warranty until right before the base warranty ends.
On that vehicle, I probably wouldn't.

Christ...if you don’t wanna drive a minivan, then don’t drive a minivan. It’s not tough.

That Expedition is going to ride and drive better than a that minivan.
At times, you're going to be moving a good bit of weight (no offense). The Ford will have the stronger engine and perform better.
