Parents and friends were sold fake tickets to Woodlawn high school graduation at healing place church. That is sad you have to sell fake tickets to a high school graduation now.

Paying for graduation tickets?
I’ve never paid for graduation tickets...at any education level.

Is this a Louisiana thing?

Pimp Jr’s graduation at a Baton Rouge public school went off without any problems . Seven kids have perfect ACT’s, 1 had a perfect SAT, the valedictorian has a full ride to Harvard, lots of kids going to the Ivy League and other top schools, half the class has a 3.5 or better, 14 million in non TOPS scholarships awarded.....

And then there is Pimp Jr lol.

My god brothers parents had to buy tickets for my mom and dad to go to their graduation back in 2016 and 2018. That was in Tuscaloosa.

I'm guessing the son of his godparent. But yea, that's not a real thing.

In other news, TIL that Catholic High had 6 graduates score 36 on the ACT and the class average was 26. If the average was only 26 with that many perfect scores, they must have had some real dumbasses dragging them down.

My parents are the godparents of the two boys. Since it is not a thing then they are friends of the family.

I hate going to graduations for free. If I have to pay I’ll just stay home.

If it's anything like schools in Alabama, the tickets are free, but are limited to, say, 8 or 10 per student, depending on the size of the venue. There is a black market of people who are desperate to have seats for more than 8 family members, and will buy tickets from people who aren't using their full allotment.

Or in this case, buy fake tickets from someone.

In any case, it sounds like a fantastic excuse to not go.
