Nothing this year unfortunately. I do enjoy sipping some whiskey while building stuff in the garage with A Christmas Story on the TV on Christmas Eve.

Winner.

Even big stuff can mostly be assembled at an off site location and makes your life SO much easier.

NOTHING! Thank God.

I have assembled everything from Barbie houses and Barbie Jeeps to swing sets.

She is grown now and asked for a new set of cookware for her place. Not a problem, Baby Girl.

The hardest thing I ever assembled? The ex-wife got a big rolltop desk one year.

It had 468 pieces of hardware (seriously 468 screws, nuts, brackets etc). Took me two days to get that damn thing together.

My favorite part of Christmas as a kid was putting things together. Glad my parents didn’t put everything together for me.

Built the playhouse over the weekend and just been hiding it on the side of the house. Kids are only 2 and 1 so aren’t savvy enough to be snooping yet.

I put together a 500 piece play kitchen set about 4-5 years ago. After that MFer everything else has been a breeze

"Assembling" a gumbo tonight if that counts. Finally got everything on the stove, so I'm sitting here watching the game and eyeing up that Crown bottle on the shelf.

I don’t have anything to assemble tonight. Kids are getting electronics. I get to sit outside and burn a good cigar until it’s time to pull the items out of the attic. Shouldn’t be too much longer. I have another hour on the smoke though :)

Power-wheels type Jeep. I didn’t pay attention to when my wife bought it. This fricker has front and rear independent coil spring suspension requiring assembly, solid axles, and led rims and light bars straight out of Denham Springs style. My FIL laughed at how many parts were in the box.
