5% raise and 5% bonus. Was my first year but they said I hit the ground running and kicked arse.
I’m happy with it.

Would usually get a 2-3% bump every year.
Would ask my boss if it was merit or cost of living, he’d always answer what difference does it make?
On the other hand we’d get an annual bonus. Depended on profit. 5% - 15% annual salary.
Had to wait till March the following year.

Mine isn't until May.
I got a 12% raise last year, so not expecting any raise this year.

Just got a 43% raise prior to the holidays, but I was making shite money at somewhat of a startup just now blooming in the field, and I'm pretty sure I was an experiment hire.

Yea. My company doesn’t give you the percentage.
They just told me last year we’re giving you a $2,500.00 bonus and a $2,800.00 raise.
If only there were a way to calculate the percentage

State Farm just gave the body shops in SWLA a $3/hr raise and another $1/hr raise on materials. First raise in 6 years.

No raises across the company.
I'm pretty disappointed TBH.
I try and look long term though.

Last one was 10%. Four years ago. None since. But they give us bonuses every January. That's becoming the new norm. WSJ had an article about it a couple of years ago. Companies are moving more towards bonuses bec they are easier to control and aren't permanent like a raise is. They wait to see what their numbers are for the year, then hand out some "candy" to keep you there. Raises across the board increase their labor cost permanently.

I always chuckle when I hear government workers complain about not ever getting raises, yet get 3% COLAs every year

13% last year and hopefully get another 13% in April and get added to the 15% year-end bonus level.
I still make jack shite for the work I do.

12.5% + higher commissions, 6 months into my first job out of college. wouldn't have been as motivated to work hard if the culture in my office wasn't so great.

My raise, after taxes, almost exactly covered the new school tuition we will be paying this year.
My son's school and the federal government got a decent raise.

I got an 8% increase about a month ago. Boss called me into his office and said, and I’ll never forget it, “you’re getting more money. I have a meeting in 5. See you when I get back.”
