Well this completely ruined my day/week/month.
Once broken it’ll be extremely had to repair. I hope people don’t just shrug it off, say melt, pretend it doesn’t matter or that it’s some kind of hippie tree hugger crap, etc.

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The World Wildlife Fund’s Living Planet Report 2020 was released. The study on the state of the wildlife decline is released every two years.
From the savanna to the sea, the world’s wildlife is under threat. Everything from big game animals and birds to our favorite fish have had their populations decline nearly 70% in the past 50 years, according to the WWF report.
“When we see this decline in wildlife, that we’re really seeing an indicator of decline in the overall planet that we call home,” said WWF scientist Jeff Opperman.
The organization monitored nearly 21,000 different species. It said the destruction of habitats, like rainforests, is one of the biggest culprits.
“How we grow food around the world is the biggest driver of decline for terrestrials, species that live in forests or grasslands,” Opperman said.
Agriculture is to blame for up to 80% of the global deforestation, according to studies. To help stop the trend, experts say we only need to look as far as our kitchen.

Nutria, pythons, and wild hogs are doing pretty well.

Don't you believe in evolution. Evolve, adapt or disappear

Fake news.
The WWF is a far left, globalist organization preying on the weak minded like you to help fund heir political agenda.
Ask a wildlife biologist what they think about the WWF.

This is fear porn from an organization that relies mostly on donations.

Without looking, is this based on a projection of where they believe wildlife populations would be without human interference, or is there actually 70% less animals?

Animals all over the place in NBR

WWF International, the world's largest conservation group, has been accused of "selling its soul" by forging alliances with powerful businesses which destroy nature and use the WWF brand to "greenwash" their operations.

The organization is a tremendous burden on taxpayers and a dangerous threat to the indigenous people in the areas where the WWF is active. Too often, the WWF does more harm than good to the animals and lands they profess to protect

Interesting strategy for reconciling this with the push for less efficient farming methods and lower meat consumption, but sure T-Roy is destroying third world rain forests as opposed to global market forces.

Nah once we are gone everything will be fine. Hell look up how wild life in Chernobyl is doing it is flourishing once humans left the area.

The World Wildlife Fund
Don’t swallow the obvious bait. Those animals you’re concerned about are smarter than that.

Sooner than later they will be calling for the reduction in the number of humans on the planet, I expect that number to be under 1 billion through attrition
