Evil begets evil. I’m not saying everyone can be rehabilitated, but taking a life in response to someone else taking a life doesn’t fix anything. Life should be sacred. If we can kill murderers then we don’t value life enough which leads to more murderers.

His priors are at the link. At least five felonies in as many years, too.

It's in the article. Check the pictures. I said half, but 3/4ers I'd a better estimate.
No seatbelt
Speeding
No valid driver's license
No proof of insurance
Etc

I'm not defending the guy, but the 43 charges and 21 arrests over 7 years is misleading. Most of the arrests, I'm assuming, were over traffic violations.

Put him down, I'm all for it. But it's not like he had 21 arrests for attempted murder, armed robbery, rape, battery, etc.

This made me realize something that I guess was pretty obvious. It's not 6% of the population committing 50% of violent crime. With habitual offenders its probably more like 2% of the population.

Did anyone read the link? This scumbag had an assault with a deadly weapon on a cop charge from 2018

How the hell is he not in prison?

Let this be a warning to suburban women. Some people don’t value your voice and just want to murder you. Time to wake up.

You'd have an argument if not for those multiple violent felonies accompanying his traffic violations.

It’s like the DA in the Rittenhoise case saying the people in the riots should be left to the criminal justice system to be punished. How many of them have been held accountable? The three people he shot are all multiple time losers, including a pedophile, none of them were held accountable.

I hate this country sometimes. I do not understand why we don't lock people who are persistent offenders away.

Govt isn't the entity that decides guilty and death penalty. It's 12 of you.

The perp who murdered the LEO was a habitual, violent offender. Car jacking and armed robbery are not low level crimes. This piece of shite should’ve been locked up long ago.

Oh I fully agree with you on that...

I was just responding to the poster above me regarding the incarceration rate in the U.S.

This sounds good initially but if you acknowledge that the government will execute innocent people while at the same time being ok with the government imprisoning people for life… what is really the difference?

You could argue that for some people it’s more humane to give a lethal injection than have them spend 50 years in a cage.

If the government can’t effectively execute anyone then they should take away anyones freedom for any length of time… then essentially we have anarchy.
