Ancient Antarctic ice sheet collapse could cause a global flood

As climate change conditions continue to increase, new research put forth by geologists suggests that the West Antarctic ice sheet (WAIS) could melt and cause a massive global flood.
The study, presented at the American Geophysical Union earlier this month, highlights the concerns and the risks involved if the sheet - which originally disappeared 125,000 years ago because of a changing climate - were to collapse.LINK

This cant be right. Not enough humans on earth then to cause climate change...

A study released in June notes that climate change has caused more than 3 trillion tons of ice to melt from Antarctica over the past 25 years ago, according to a USA Today report.
Yet I go to the same condo in Florida every year and nothing has changed

Every single year this ice sheet is breaking, can we just have the flood already or STFU about it?

The temparure in Antarctica as of this post is -8 degrees Fahrenheit. The coldest quarter averages -63 degrees celcius. The warmest averages -7 degrees Celsius.
The coast is warmer; on the coast Antarctic average temperatures are around -10 °C (14.0 °F).
East Antarctica is colder than its western counterpart because of its higher elevation, however in order to melt the extremely thick ice sheet in the West, temperatures would have to remain above freezing for an extended period of time.
It is just not possible. Take this liberal drivel elsewhere. We are cointiuing to drill for oil, and will do so until the Earth is void of it.

So... is climate change a man-made event or not?

so, about 20 years ago, according to the Malthusians

Fine by me, let it rip. My house is high enough to take it.

Sounds like a bunch of poor baws who live inland from the Gulf Coast are about to own some expensive beachfront property.
Good for them.
Good for them.

But those geologists need 10.4 billion in grants to study it more before they can say something like that !
If the temperatures in SELA stay below 40 for an extended period of time we will all forego jackets for short sleeves. The coat industry will collapse and jobs will be lost! Quick, let’s do something about it! Subsidize the textile industry, just in case...

I love climate changers. They are so entertaining.

"Could" they write an article not presuming a whole bunch of stuff and COULD it not contain a fantasy dream of conditions that COULD, maybe, might, possibly, perchance, somehow not end in death to the planet?
Well, they COULD!

Put a glass full of ice and water on your table..
When the ice melts and the glass overflows reply back to me.
