They pretty much are iMO. I think they like the edgy perception, but the truth is, they aren’t that hardcore like Seattle, not by a long stretch. A few visits back I watched a couple dozen ant eater fans try and demonstrate against circumcision by painting their crotches red with blood and get everyone downtown up in arms. One of the funniest things I’ve seen there’s as most just walked by in amusement and others just looked on in disbelief, but they were serious damnit.
Outside the edgy more degenerate segments of W Asheville though, it’s a really cool place, and 2 minutes outside the city it gets real red and with the quickness.

I went to the farmers market in Asheville this morning. Other than a damn tree down on the interstate, it was a breeze. Those maters though.
