do you honestly believe that the majority of liberals/democrats want to confiscate all guns?
Not yet, but the percentage that does is steadily increasing. You can claim ignorance on this subject, it's ok because the vast majority are, but when/if you can be bothered to take an educated and objective look around you'll find that what used to be a third-rail topic amongst the left isn't so much these days.

Did you just classify all boomers as absent dads abdicating their responsibility? That’s a really shitty generalization to be making
No, but I accept responsibility that a lot from my generation did become absent fathers. It's part of the problem now.
I can at least say I did not and my brothers did not.

15-20 years ago the mere idea of gun confiscation was laughed at but during this year's debates there were open calls for it.

Nah, they just want common sense gun control. You don't hate common sense, do you?
Think of the children.

Beto - out
Swalwell - out
Booker - still hanging around but polling around 1% and has not qualified for this months debate
I'm sure all but Mayor Pete, Yang and Biden want to take your guns away though, lol

and the idea is still laughed at considering the popularity of the candidates that called for it

No such thing as a slippery slope. This is where it will end
Posted on 12/3/19 at 11:25 am to ellishughtiger
Biden wants to ban sales of guns. Why is it a large leap to see him calling confiscation once dale becomes illegal?

yall are doing everything yall can to create this boogeyman that just doesnt exist. its absolutely fascinating

Popular enough to be invited to the debates

And all three are elected members of Congress. Who represent quite a large number of people.
Sure, it's a bit of a stretch to say "all liberals want to take your guns", but it's certainly not a stretch to say there is a large population of them that do.

Most of the stuff I hear advocated as "common sense" is complete garbage. It's a meaningless rhetorical crutch, and people who know what they're talking about don't need rhetorical crutches.

and it really helped them, huh?
y'all have become the boy who cried wolf
y'all screamed it when Obama took office and y'all will be screaming everytime a Democrat comes into power
eventually, it might happen, but no one is going to take y'all seriously because of how often y'all screamed it when it wasn't a threat

Only because they split the debate group up into 2 nights to accommodate them all.
and Booker is in serious danger of not qualifying for the next debate.

WestCoastAg, if I moved to the state you live in I'd have to get rid of two rifles and seven magazines first.
That's not a "bogeyman," that's a fact.
