So the solution is the ban certain guns based solely on how "scary" they look. Brilliant.
That's been mentioned but is far from the only thing that has either been put forward through legislation or put up for conversation.

Where is the well regulated part?
That is the compromise.
That is the compromise.

You should probably go read what the term meant at that time.
I mean that shite was debunked years ago dude.
Not to mention you fail at sentence structure.
But again, I expect nothing less from people like you. You only wish to selectively support individual rights. The ones you happen to agree with.

Interesting. One side compromised in 1934, 1938, 1939, 1968, 1986, and 1994. Where did the other compromise?
Link? I'd be curious to read about those years and the legislation from them.
Just for fun...just schools, just since 2000 (after those alleged concessions), there have been 50 shootings that resulted in 2 or more deaths. And you know all the other statistics about the gun violence/death rate in the US vs. the rest of the civilized world. You're ok with all of that. I'm not. I think more needs to be done. You don't...obviously your right to feel that way.

I didn't edit the posts to change the point. They all had "all" in them from the beginning. I largely will edit for grammar after the fact. You just convinced yourself of something that wasn't true.

I'm sorry, I would expect someone with such a strong opinion about gun legislation to know about the major gun legislation passed in this country.

You're ok with all of that.
Yes. Because I have a greater chance to be struck by lightning. Twice.

Because you base your decisions on emotion. I hold individual liberty above emotion.

They are never coming to take your guns. Period.
They may fight like hell to stop you from buying more, but they're simply not taking the ones you already have.
First off, bullshite. This just the camel's nose under the tent.
Secondly, what's the point of stopping sales without confiscating the ones already legally owned? A person who wants to shoot up a school can only fire one weapon at a time. If he already has one, what good is not selling him another? And he's a law abiding citizen, what's the harm in allowing him to buy another? The sales ban is just another meaningless, "feel good" initiative that accomplishes nothing but appeals to emotion that the left loves to attach itself to.

Given “well regulated” means well trained and well equipped, I assume you support the relaxation of existing gun laws to ensure the people are as well equipped as possible and enactment of some kind of federally funded rifle and handgun training course to ensure the people are as well trained as possible?

I do
I do

I worry about the state of someone who can see coverage of dozens of kids or innocent people getting mowed down and think "yeah, I can live with this, even though we're the only country where it happens and it's probably possible to limit how often it happens".
So yeah, as a country and shite, as a species, we need to realize when something is fricked up and try to do better. The examples of it are too many to count.

I already asked about that...the answer was a resounding no. No training, no restrictions of any kind, guns for any/all who want them (including felons I assume)

I can live with it. Why? Because aside from it being a statistical anomaly, my focus is on addressing why someone is mowing down innocent people, not the tool. Again, you base your decisions on pure emotion and have no interest in using reason to evaluate the problem and uphold the individual rights of those who have done no wrong.

Your problem is you think banning a tool will cause anyone to "do better."
It's a simplistic thought process.

That's different. Voting is a constitutional right.

Did you push for muslim bans after 911?
Limit cars to 25 mph?
Ban alcohol?
Or is your outrage simply the result of listening to propaganda?

Those are some of the dumbest examples. Not even worthy of entertaining them.
Just for fun, on the last one...have you heard of the Dept of Homeland Security, and all the shite they do and oversee? And the war in Afghanistan. That happened following 9/11. Agree or disagree with both of those, that's called "doing something".

They shouldn't exist. And is a perfect example of an emotional response to a problem resulting in a loss of liberty. Crisis and Leviathan.

Thanks for proving my point as to why emotional responses end up fricking everyone and degrading individual liberty.

How are you addressing the reason? What are you in favor of?
Also, and I've said this here before, it doesn't have to be an "either/or" approach...we can and should be coming at it from both sides.
