So you agree that anger would be present? You agree that a response would be immediate? Would you see him teeing off or licking a camels nutsack (Im not sure what they do for leisure) the next day without a response? That's the point.

No I'm saying that the ISIS leaders would use that guy's death to recruit more and more psychopaths and make themselves stronger. Its not much of a "revenge" thing since trying to kill us all is their goal anyway. They'll just use his death to spread that.

Our goal isn't to wipe all Muslims off the face of the planet so its not really the same.

No but I can read and understand statistics and according to them we are actually living in the most peaceful time in history.

Over all, say the last 1000 years, yes. But, in the last 15+ years, world tension jumped to a all time high. People wise not dying, but a lot worse crimes are happening now.

for one would not be willing to trade one military life for a captured journalist. I know we can accomplish some good missions with drones, but sending in any troops for a journalist doesn't make sense to me.

I am going to have to agree with this. Right or wrong, these guys are assuming enormous risk when they travel to a war zone as an independent journalist. Just because they hold a US Passport, doesn't give them the right to invite danger and then expect us to come running to their rescue. Yes, we protect US Citizens who fall victim to circumstances beyond their control but this is like a white guy walking the streets of North Baton Rouge after midnight with $100 bills hanging out of his pockets. What do you think is going to happen? If some guy elects to do that, is it the job of BRPD to assign a car to trail him the entire time?

How many more of these journalist are they holding?

Don't know....but they do have a 26 year old US woman for whom they want a ransom of $6.6 million. She had been working for several humanitarian aid groups and was kidnapped last year. Poor girl being with those savages.

All blame needs to be on the frickers who did this. While not the smartest thing for the journalists to put themselves in harms way, any group who will do this to someone simply from being from a certain part of the country needs to be executed with great anger and furious vengeance. I would put a bounty on every one of their names, go on live tv with the list and give the run and hide mfer speach.

He's not very good at those either. This is easily the most overhyped president in US history.

He's the Jamarcus Russell of presidents.

The president should be smart enough to know how to give a speech to the American public immediately after a tragedy.

This is not a tragedy. It is terrible that Sotloff has been murdered in such a horrific way, but everyone who understands radical Islam knew that he was not going to live.

It is more important to them that they kill an American for recruitment and propaganda purposes. That is all they wanted with him.

Speech day:

1. play front 9
2. ride in on cart, read speech on teleprompter
3. play back 9

Because the president of my country is a stupid frick who cant deliver a speech to save his life, has never ever made me think he was sincere about anything he said, and is incapable of showing even the slightest evidence that he cares at all about anything that he does.
