Can’t really blame “white supremacy” since it’s a popular hip hop song. So they are going with it being a terrorist call to action.

quote:

Chant has been compared to saying ‘Long live ISIS,’ and called vulgar, trollish

quote:

The phrase became an internet sensation last month after an NBC reporter at a NASCAR Xfinity Series race incorrectly reported that fans in the stands were chanting "Let’s Go Brandon" following a victory by driver Brandon Brown, when they were really shouting, "F--k Joe Biden!"

quote:

But the chant’s popularity has infuriated the left, resulting in an onslaught of angry tweets, columns and hot takes from liberal pundits. NPR labeled the term "vulgar" and CNN’s Edward-Issac Dovere was so offended by the phrase that he called it "an inside joke telling the president of the United States to perform a sexual act on himself."

quote:

Washington Post reporters Ashley Parker and Carissa Wolf wrote on what they considered "vitriol" from Biden critics in a piece titled "Biden’s critics hurl increasingly vulgar taunts."

The article claimed, "The current eruption of anti-Biden signs and chants, however, is on another level, far more vulgar and widespread" than anything seen in previous administrations.

One of them even bum rushed the cockpit when a Southwest pilot might have mentioned it.

quote:

An Associated Press reporter even admitted to nearly getting kicked off a plane when a pilot on a Southwest flight from Houston to Albuquerque allegedly signed off his announcement for passengers by saying, "Let's go Brandon."

The possibility of a pilot using the term caused reporters to hyperventilate.

"Vulgarity stand-in from @SouthwestAir cockpit," Washington Post editor Cathleen Decker wrote while AP’s Colleen Long nearly got kicked off the flight.

quote:

"TFW you’re trying to go on vacation and then the pilot says the very thing you’re working on over the loud speaker and you have to try to get him comment but then almost get removed from plane," Long wrote Saturday

Will Bunch, an opinion columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer, declared he would never fly Southwest again and CNN analyst Asha Rangappa compared the pilot to an ISIS sympathizer.

The pilot said Braves, not Brandon. But that was too close for comfort.

quote:

"This is, I think, a witty and funny viral take on the media’s dishonesty that they tell us something that is clearly not true that we can see with our own eyes, and that is why I think it’s so popular with so many people," Outkick founder Clay Travis said on Monday during "America’s Newsroom."

I don’t think they realize that the joke is more on them than “Brandon”. The more they fight it, the less influential they get.

Let them lose their minds. It’ll just make it more popular.

It's this along with being clever to avoid actual profanity so it can be broadcast without issue across all mediums.

As opposed to all the actual profane anti-Trump messaging the Left promoted for years.

So yeah it's a legit viral meme without restrictions on broadcast that's making Democrats melt down, creating a Streisand Effect that's creating its own version of a slightly different viral meme.

A perfect example of a seemingly profound statement that is completely not true AND nobody actually believes the sincerity of the comment on top of that. We all know the person who wrote that is lying and knows its lying, which makes this charade even more funny.

American journalism causes so many of the problems they blame others for starting.

They created the Brandon chant. What happens is on them.

Ignore it. The more it annoys them the more it will happen. People are too fricking stupid to figure this out.

They could flip the script, embrace it and it wouldn't be as cool. But if there is one thing us Americans hate is to be told to do something.. So if the media is making a big issue out of it, it will continue to go on..

I think its a stupid fricking chant, but if the media keeps making it a story then they are only fueling it.

I love how these people are more appalled by this than mass riots nationwide that resulted in over $2 billion in property damage and led to the deaths of 20+ people.

F-ck Joe Biden was already widespread at virtually all sports arenas over the summer. Now it's G-rated and thus more popular. And now and checks the "insult a journalist" box.

I think that is part of it. But i think first and foremost it is still frick joe biden. The best part about let's go brandon is you can say it and not sound the least bit offensive.

The fact that it's also an insult to the media is just icing.

The propaganda MSM has a playbook they follow for anything negative about their masters:
1. If it’s possible to ignore it, ignore it.
2. If not possible to ignore, discredit it.
3. If not possible to discredit, spin it. <- This is where they are.
4. If the spin isn’t working, grudgingly cover it with heavy cheerleading for master.
