It's just part of God's plan. Shame on you for not accepting everything as part of his plan

Access to information is killing Christianity and religion in general. It's much easier to do some research and realize it's bull shite. Unless of course you only read what your priest or minister tells you to read.

not sure if the world will be a better place without religion or not. on one hand you dont have all the jesus lovers, on the other hand the whole jesus thing is a reminder to not be a dick to people.

The world won’t be without religion. It’ll just have fewer Christians. Western Christianity is plummeting. Have no fear, Islam is still going strong. I don’t know the stats, but I bet Judaism is diminishing too. Seems like very few Jews are actually religious.

Way to go, Boomers. That’s why you don’t force faith on your kids. You’ll just steer them away.

Do you think we are better off as a society in general with less things out there institutionally to motivate dick people to not be dicks?

Eh I see a lot of millennials going to these "new age" churches like Highlands etc. The ones with rock bands etc.

A strong tendency for these to be "OT trashy" and less educated.

Millennials can't afford to go to church. With student loan debt out of control and stagnant wages, they can't afford the transportation costs or guilt trips about tithing.

People are more selfish and secular now. It sucks. Nothing is sacred and the internet is not helping. I get that a lot of people have problems with religion and Christianity, but Christianity practiced and preached correctly helps form good people. It’s a shame people just look for every reason to criticize it and find the bad, which usually turns them away for good. The mainstream media really exacerbates this problem. A few bad priests all of a sudden represent all clergy. That is a stupid mindset.

Parents should teach their kids right and wrong and instill in them a good moral compass. If they do that, religion is outdated and unnecessary.

California, a state almost completely devoid of Christianity, is a good example of what happens when you say “frick it, anything goes!”

If we don't understand, we tend to avoid or mock. We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are. Yet pride can turn to grace, humility to wisdom.
