I honestly think that none of this would have happened if it weren’t for Lin Wood, advocating for the execution of Pence and who knows what else. Then we people started looking closer they see that there was coordination, support, and encouragement for Wednesday’s events happening on Parler, and since Parler decided that none of it, from Lin Wood’s comments to the planning of an illegal attack on the Capitol would be moderated, people started putting pressure on the companies whose infrastructure enables it in the first place.
Then when one domino fell, the rest followed, as the rest probably felt like they were looking bad by not doing what the others were doing. Now I see people trying to get the domain sites, GitHub, etc. to follow suit.
I’m really uncomfortable with what is happening, but I can see why it’s happening. And I don’t think it would have happened if not for someone with such influence and notoriety as Lin Wood making such extreme comments about executing elected officials, which then highlighted even more of what was happening. It would have been far easier to overlook it if it was just some randoms.

They might ban Trump and destroy Parler, but they’re going to have to cut out a sizable portion of their user base to actually silence conservative thought.

The continued faith conservatives have in the courts system is really weird to me. Go ahead and sue and see if Stacy Abrams sister, or John Roberts give you a chance. The Courts system is just another government bureaucracy that wants to maintain and/or expand its power.
