And it was something everyone knows about. You never read the five star ratings. It's not like you were starting a thread about inventing the wheel.

I wonder how much that Roomba usually is? Roombas are amazing - I already have one but would make a nice gift for the parents

3 years later people are still talking about that one post so i must have done something right.

It was a whole lengthy of you stubbornly arguing about the fact that you are unable to use judgement when reading product reviews and/or ratings. It's one of the more ridiculous things I've seen on this site, and that's saying something.

Nvm, I read a bad review about the 40" tv.

Apparently, it's not as big as the 42" . You can have it cad.

Are you looking at the 7 quart pro line?

They are only about $259 for the normal ones

The cheapest pet hair roomba they have on Amazon currently is $400. My guess would be it will drop to $299.

yea you are looking at the industrial heavy duty oversized professional kitchen model, and even then it must be a specific color at a higher than normal price... if you stick to home use, or look at pretty much any other item that comes up when searching kitchenaid on amazon, youll do better on the price.

When we first got ours it was great. We could set the schedule and let it take care of pet hair while we were at work. Just once a week full vacuum kept the house good.

That was all until we learned, luckily not first hand, that autoprogram was a bad thing with an inside dog.

My boss, at the time, had a roomba and let it run during the day. The dog had an accident on the floor...a solid accident. Roomba being like the Honey Badger, and giving no fricks, made tracks through the doo and painted the living room floor.

After that no auto. Also, they take more and more maintenance as they age. I would spend more time cleaning and working on it than what it would take to vacuum myself.

I dont have any pets, but I do have dark wood floors that shows dust/fuzz/threads/dirt easily. Have to sweep it very often. Would be nice to have a little robot do it for me

No doubt. They are really convenient, whether the price is worth it or not depends on the owner.
